Custom Golf of Connecticut, (CGC) founded in 1990, is housed in a 4000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility located in downtown Stamford, CT.
Fundamental to our business philosophy is the belief that custom fitted golf clubs made to precise specifications and the most sophisticated golf swing analysis technology will improve performance at all levels of ability both in amateurs and professionals.
The Motion Golf Imaging System is now in Stamford Connecticut. "It's the best golf swing feedback system I've ever seen," said Darren Anderson, owner of Custom Golf of Connecticut, the premier custom club fitting facility in the area and rated as one of "America's Top 100 Golf Shops" by Golf World Business. "This product provides detailed information a video camera could never capture and helps the student see and understand the correct movements in the golf swing. Anderson also is installing Trackman, a Doppler radar launch monitor that is the best club fitting technology available. Additionally, golfers will benefit from the revolutionary exercise methodology known as Flexor. The Flexor golf specific training
program teaches the proper body movement patterns for golf, resulting in improved balance, flexibility, power and consistency.
Because the Motion Golf technology was developed through research with images recorded by several touring professionals ? including Justin Rose, Fred Funk, Sergio Garcia and many more ? it can be used for side-by-side comparisons with a student's swing. The company refers to this as "step-in technology" since the student can actually step into the swing of a pro. The real power of the technology, however, results in lowering handicaps for golfers of all levels. Motion Golf now has a library of 100 professional swings on file.
