Frederick W. Moore, PGA
Fred is a Class A PGA Professional with extensive teaching experience in the Metropolitan Section of the PGA. Fred has held the position of Assistant Golf Professional at the Tuxedo Club in Tuxedo Park, NY and 1st Assistant Golf Professional at The Ardsley Country Club in Ardsley, NY and the Wheatley Hills Golf Club in East Williston, NY where he shares the course record of 63.
In 2006 Fred joined Golf Galaxy in Westbury, NY where in 2007 he was named the PGA Golf Professional of the Year for Golf Galaxy.
"To be a great teacher, I believe you have to have a good working knowledge of the golf swing along with the ability to effectively communicate to every golfer. Every pupil has a unique way of learning and making changes to their golf swing from the beginner to the accomplished player. I try to improve upon what the player brings by focusing on the fundamentals and diagnosing the root cause of the problem. Once found, I prescribe a course of action to fix the flaw through the use of video analysis and training aids."
